Soldier On’s Pathways Program is delighted to partner with OPEC College for this scholarship Program and we thank them for their generosity.
The scholarship will enable a veteran or family member registered with the Soldier On Pathways Program, to apply and be considered for a fully funded course at OPEC College.
Who is eligible to apply?
Veterans and their families can apply for the scholarship. The costs of the chosen applicant’s preferred individual course will be covered. This applies regardless of whether Recognition of Prior Learning is used, or the candidate opts for full study. Courses and training can be delivered online or face to face in QLD, with flexible start times.
Which courses are available under the scheme?
OPEC College offers both Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) as well as a range of courses. Qualifications range from Cert III to Graduate Diploma and include:
- Leadership and Management;
- Work Health and Safety;
- Project Management;
- Risk Management;
- Education Support; and
- Marine Oil Spill.
What other benefits are there?
OPEC College’s parent company, OPEC Systems works closely with industry, particularly Defence, which means that in addition to offering commercially focused training they are also very aware of the Defence world that the scholarship candidate may have transitioned from.
OPEC College will offer continuous support and guidance throughout the program in combination with the ongoing support from Soldier On’s Pathways team.
