Veterans Health Week

Veterans’ Health Week 2020 focuses on social connection

This year’s Veterans’ Health Week 24th Oct – 1st Nov 2020 is focusing on social connection. During a challenging year for many, it’s never been more important to stay connected with others. Staying socially distanced doesn’t have to mean you can’t keep in contact with people.

Soldier On’s digital Connect Hub is an online initiative to help support veterans and their families in new ways at this challenging time during the COVID-19 pandemic. Connect Hub is here to help you get support, stay connected, keep informed and be engaged.

Social distancing doesn’t mean you need to be alone. Join us online, over the phone or in person where local restrictions allow and together we will get through this. To find out more about Soldier On activities happening near you, check out our Soldier On events calendar. Local activities can include wellness walks, workshops, indoor sports activities and coffee catch-ups, depending on the state you live in and local social distancing restrictions.

This year many people have been facing employment challenges, with some choosing to upskill or retrain and find a new career path. The Pathways Program enables veterans and their family members to achieve educational goals and secure their future career.
