Funded Cert II in Engineering opportunity in Queensland for veterans

Soldier On has joined with PFi Aerospace, TAFE QLD, and RSL QLD to provide a Rocket Motor Program for ex-serving and transitioning defence members.

The new Queensland pilot program will give veterans the opportunity to build a fully functioning hybrid rocket motor which will be delivered at the end of the course to USQ.

The 12 week course takes place in Queensland, starting early in the New Year 2021. Participants will achieve a CERT II in Engineering.

This exciting new program will be run as 3 days a week at TAFE Acacia Ridge and 2 days a week at PFI Aerospace in Richlands applying participants new skills to build a full-functioning hybrid rocket motor.

Fully funded for DVA card holders and those that qualify for subsidy.

Places are limited and going fast, with the opportunity for up to 6 veteran participants still available. Please contact the Soldier On Pathways Education team to register your interest as soon as possible.

This project is providing exciting new opportunities for ex-serving and transitioning defence members to be a part of the developing space industry and expand their personal skill set.
