New Soldier On Prep 4 Pathways digital series launches

Soldier On’s free series of digital Prep 4 Pathways webinars for 2021 launches to enable veterans and their families across Australia to upskill and gain insider knowledge and practical insights into employment with a variety of companies. Prep 4 Pathways events are hosted online and in some locations held face-to-face where possible, with Covid-19 safe procedures in place.

What is a Soldier On Prep 4 Pathways event?

Prep 4 Pathways events are designed to provide veterans and their families with information and knowledge which may assist you with your job search, job applications and finding new career pathways. Many of our Prep 4 Pathways events include veteran speakers who share their experiences, along with Soldier On Pledge companies who recognise and value the skills acquired in the Australian Defence Forceand may be actively recruiting.

The events may also include valuable insider tips about specific industries and organisation’s recruitment processes.

Who should attend a Prep 4 Pathways event?

If you’re part of th eADF or veteran community and looking for a new job, considering a career change, have transitioned out of the Australian Defence Force, or are a family member seeking new employment opportunities, then a Prep 4 Pathways event can be helpful. The events will help you to get your career goals focused and keep them on track and connect you with veteran-supportive organisations. Whatever stage of your career or employment transition you’re at, if you’re current or ex-serving ADF, or a Defence Partner or family member, you can attend and gain valuable information and tips to forge a new career pathway and secure your future career.

What is the format of a Prep 4 Pathways event?

The Prep 4 Pathways events are a mix of face-to-face events and webinars which are held virtually. You can connect online to the digital event wherever you are in Australia. The digital events usually start with introductions and a short presentation, with time for questions and run for 1 hour in total. Face-to-face events may vary in format and usually include a short presentation from a veteran supportive organisation. You will also be able to book in a time to talk with specific companies who may be actively recruiting.

Do I need to book in advance?
